The Himalayan Salt Bar is healthier than the alum (aluminum) stone. Unlike the alum stone, it is not processed in any way except carving it from natural chunks of Himalayan salt. The salt bars have been used for centuries and contain no alcohol, perfumes or aluminum. The salt bar can be used all over the body, even your feet! The salt bar works when applied wet to clean skin. The salt bar leaves an invisible layer of salt that helps prevent odor causing bacteria from forming. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean, without clogging your pores.

How to use as a deodorant: Initially, wash the area to be covered. Wet the salt bar and rub it on the area thoroughly. Dry the salt bar and place it in a suitable and dry receptacle. Do not dry your skin!

How to use as soap: Glide the wet salt bar by gently pressing it against your skin. Do not rub hard, or use it the way you use a regular bar of soap. The salt bar leaves a film on your skin, enabling your body to absorb the trace minerals.

This salt bar also helps to alleviate aches and pains. It is an excellent treatment for the following skin conditions: Acne breakouts, rashes, eczema, psoriasis, allergic reactions, insect bites/ stings.
